KING LIONS MESSAGE:

    Hello Lions,

    Another month has come and gone. Summer will soon be here. A dart tournament was held April 14th. Thanks to all who helped and made this a success. St. John Ambulance put on a First Aid course at our hall. Volunteer Awards night was held with about 80 people in attendance. I was nominated by the Lions Club and received an award. It was an honor and I thank you.
    Coming up this month, there will be an officer?s training session at Port Hawkesbury Lions Hall, May 5th at 10:00 am. On May 11th there will be a supper for the Lacrosse Team, (more information will be forthcoming). Also, we have our Mother?s Day Breakfast on May 13th. We will need lots of workers for this event. May 19th will be the Adopt-a-Highway clean up beginning 9:00 am from the hall. Please volunteer for this event.
    Reminder; save your old eyeglasses, stamps, Sobeys slips and ink cartridges.
